The UAC Tabloid Project began as a personal project solely geared towards experimenting with different design techniques, mixed media, and basically; practice. At first, I’d concept an idea and execute it in a few hours, but over time I began thinking deeper and deeper. Ideas that were thought up within seconds, we’re being drawn out over days, weeks, even months. The project went from being generally comical and witty to places much deeper and darker than I ever imagined. At first, I was hesitant to share these graphic representations of my thoughts/feelings, mostly because this was never my intention, but they’ve become an outlet for me to speak to people that are willing to listen in a form that I’m most comfortable with; art.
